1. Basic research into the development of hybrid and electric driven vehicles - TÁMOP 4.2.2/A-11/1/KONV-2012-0012

JKK launched its first major basic research project in vehicle industry in September 2012, which deals with electronic and mechanical issues of electric and hybrid vehicles. The project aims at achieving new basic research and targeted basic research results in the fields of vehicle dynamics and control, simulation and optimization, as well as the power train of electric and hybrid drive vehicles.

2. ICT support of “Smarter Transport” cooperative traffic management systems - TÁMOP-4.2.2.C-11/1/KONV-2012-0012

The project was launched in November 2012 and it aims at meeting the basic requirements of the transport of passengers and goods with using more efficient, safer and environment friendly solutions, realized basically through the research and application of advanced information and communications technologies.

3. “Cooperation between higher education, research institutes and vehicle industry” Support of regional cooperation with higher education institutions in the field - TÁMOP-4.1.1/C-12/1/KONV-2012-0002

The cooperating universities, colleges and research institutes, joined by several automotive companies, signed the Cooperation Agreement of the Vehicle Industry on 13^thJuly 2012 in Pannonhalma, which will serve as a framework for a joint work project. The joint work project is managed and organized by the JKK. The specific objective of the project is to establish a network of higher education institutions in the vehicle industry, which would satisfy the regional labour market needs by establishing a coordinated range of services, while taking into consideration the regional capacity development in the field. An objective of equal importance is to establish a high value-added range of trainings and services for the vehicle industry, a priority field in the New Széchenyi Plan.
